What is a Healing Watershed?
You may have heard the term “Healing Crisis” used before.
I created a different way to describe it
“A Healing Watershed”
“A Defining Moment in Your Health”
Did you know physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of our “being” may develop impurities over time from injuries, illnesses, traumatic events, poor health habits, and environmental pollutants? It is the release of these resurfacing impurities both physically and emotionally that create a “healing watershed”.
It begins with the chronic stage commencing through the acute phase and into true healing
Within each of us is an imprint defining the fullness of our “existence”.
Our body, mind, heart, and soul embrace these qualities guiding us toward harmony and balance.
Energetic and Vibrational BodyWork
Reiki, drumming (BodyDrumWork), Crystal Therapy, or balancing of the Chakras can gently open awareness to the entirety of the self and support healing of body, mind, heart, and soul. It touches the subtle body as well as the physical body.
Subtle: Intelligent, experienced, or sensitive enough to make refined judgments and distinctions.
Body: The complete material structure or physical form of a human being or animal
Soul: the complex of human attributes that manifests as consciousness, thought, feeling, and will, regarded as distinct from the physical body
Having an innate trust in the ability of the body to heal itself creates awareness. This opens the possibility for a “healing watershed” to emerge and the gradual release of negative memory on a cellular and soul level.
A Purifying Process
A purifying process can be initiated with any bodywork. Sometimes, following a session more healing takes place. It can be physically or emotionally uncomfortable. This is the “healing watershed”; a period of time where issues needing further attention are expressed. These are not signs of illness per Se, but of healing in progress.
The flow of energetic healing is moving within and around the natural energy systems of the body. These healing moments are deeply personal and may take anywhere from a few hours to a few to a few months to completely process while long held memories from all levels of our being are released.
The Physical Body
It is not unusual to experience one or more of the following physical symptoms: fever, headache, sore throat, coughing, aching joints and muscles, tingling sensations, nausea, constipation, and diarrhea. Temporary changes may also take place such as fatigue, needing more sleep, or insomnia.
The Soul Body
The soul body is also being healed. There may be deeply held emotions that have been repressed over the years in the form of grief, fear, depression, sadness, anger, and frustration. These emotions as well as suppressed memories may resurface.
**Should you have any concerns regarding continued physical or emotional discomfort following vibrational or energetic bodywork, it is advised you visit your regular healthcare provider.
